DRC MEMBERSHIPS

Premium Membership Fees include a standard “Senior” or “Family” Membership with Delta Riding Club (DRC).

• A $25 key deposit is included in the Membership Fee. Keys must be returned on or before November 1, in order to receive a refund of your deposit.

• Access to Delta Riding Club is permitted depending on footing conditions, from approximately April 15 through October 31.

• Delta Riding Club reserves the right to delay the opening or close the facility, if footing conditions are deemed unsafe by any current Director.

• In order to have access to the grounds you must have a fully paid Premium Membership in good standing with DRC. For insurance purposes all riders must be a current member of Horse Council BC. Anyone riding your horse at DRC must have a Premium Membership unless they are participating in a DRC show or clinic.

• During clinics, the facility is reserved for the exclusive use of the registered participants.

• Premium Members may ride in any warm up area during a show, but must adhere to the rules of the ring and show while doing so.

• Youth must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times

• The driveway gate must be kept closed and latched at all times. The padlock must be securely locked when leaving.

• Any area under construction will be clearly marked as CLOSED and is strictly off limits.

• Any arena that is prepared for a show will be clearly marked as CLOSED and is strictly off limits.

• No loose horses in any of the arenas or anywhere on the DRC grounds. No cantering outside of the arenas.

• Use of stalls is permitted, however stalls must be cleaned after use. Do not tie horses to any part of the stall.

• Any jumps or equipment that are used must be returned to its original location on the same day of use.

• Jumping is only permitted when supervised by a coach or a Director. Certified helmets are mandatory for ALL riders.

• All coaches must be a Delta Riding Club Member in good standing and provide proof of insurance.

• Members who conduct themselves in an unsafe manner or fail to abide by these rules may be suspended or expelled from the club by a majority ruling by the board of directors. No refunds will be issued for suspensions or expulsions.
